The City Council began with a discussion of the questions. During the inquiry concerning the failure displacement of the Industrial Services the Mayor has assured that the goal remains to make it go away. There still remains the fact that in recent years progress has not been made and the constraints have been allowed to lapse, but now is the time in which everyone, wherever possible, to do everything we can to ensure that this activities to move as soon as possible, preferably before the activation of the incinerator.
Regarding the questions on statements by the Mayor on the open competition for managers ( "leaders? We hire people who work with us for years" ), the direct question answered saying that it was not his thought and that it has been reported in the paper. I still think that a claim of denial / correction by writing to the journal could be made. Approved
then, even with our votes, some important decisions like the one for the Covenant of Mayors on environmental and energy policies .
Our motion that required to block the process on the new city hall in purple and involve the citizens in the decision was rejected (if I remember correctly 8 votes in favor and 15 against).
In favor of our motion, as well al centrodestra, hanno votato i consiglieri di Grugliasco Democratica e il consigliere appartenente alla maggioranza Porcelli, dei Comunisti Italiani. Alcuni (e non pochi) consiglieri di maggioranza erano assenti al momento del voto: non si sa quanti per motivi famigliari, personali, lavorativi e quanti per imbarazzo nel condividere la decisione intrapresa alcuni mesi fa dal Sindaco...
In sostanza la nostra mozione chiedeva di sospendere, una volta ricevuto il progetto di fattibilità, l'iter di costruzione del nuovo municipio nel Porporati per coinvolgere la cittadinanza nella decisione. La mozione è stata bocciata adducendo come motivazione una evidente faziosità (mah...). Resta il fatto che grazie alla mozione e alla raccolta signatures (which still continue), the Administration and the Mayor have made a nice reverse Mazzù , however, saying that the path design will be both cooperative and that the move is still not decided yet. Two main points covered in the debate: the cost and location.
With regard to costs , the Mayor said that there are no official documents stating that the new city hall will cost 8 million euro, and even asked them to us. Already in Council I have said is true, does not exist, but simply that we trusted his words! Does not believe most of what he said and confirmed several times in the newspapers?
We were then given the alleged costs of restructuring the current City Hall prepared by technical departments (I hope to have them pinned right ... I say this for the Mayor to read for sure and is ready to write down even the smallest error with the red pencil from good teacher ...):
- € 890,000 for the renovation of the square part of 66 martyrs
- € 513,000 for the refurbishment of part of Piazza Matteotti
- 750,000 € per the air conditioning system;
- € 1,000,000 for building insulation and windows;
TOTAL: more than 3.000.000 €
Unless the figure of € 513,000 which corresponds to that of the projects in our possession, or other do not correspond (from the projects that we have given them that the restructuring of part of the square is 66 martyrs to cost € 667,000 and not 890,000), or there is still no documentation was provided about (air conditioning and insulation). We requested copies of the documents to the offices that justify these figures .
The fact remains that although these figures are confirmed, 3 million are always less than 8 provided by the statements of the Mayor (although 4 of those 8 million were recovered by selling the land of the town hall ... as long as someone gives them ... 4 million)
With regard to the location the the mayor and several councilors continue to argue that the area where they want to build is close to the park and not inside. We replied that that area is inside the fence the park and is also classified as green area in the plan (a variant would serve to build). They try to confuse with words, but the reality is (too obvious) under the eyes of all.
E 'then unanimously approved the motion to Grugliasco the entry of the network "Cities for Families" .
